MOVIE REVIEW: THE TOWN

SYNOPSIS: A bank robber who lives and breath's bank robbery wants to retire from his life of crime, while at the same time falls in love with a hostage.

CHARACTERS: I loved these characters. Jeremy Renners performance was heart stopping. When he was on screen, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. On the other hand, I didn't care much for Ben Afflecks performance. Someone that nice is difficult to see as someone who is this cold blooded bank robber. I wish they had him more of a transitional character that changes. Even though he wanted to leave his life of crime, I just see this character as more of a irritated and maybe irrational character instead of a cool, laid back character.

REVIEW: This movie is awesome! I loved almost every bit of it. From the action of the car chases to the drama and emotion of each character. I loved that fact that every actor was important in the story, like a puzzle piece that formed a beautiful portrait. Everything was intrigue that made the ending fun, appealing and begging you for more.

RECOMMENDATION: SEE THIS IN THEATERS! THAT IS ALL. SEE IT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

MOVIE REVIEW: WALL STREET: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS

SYNOPSIS: After just being released from prison, shark tycoon, Gordon Gecko, learns of his daughters marriage, while Gordon's daughter wants nothing to do with him. At the same time Gordon son is law is obsessed with the man who is the "Gordon Gecko."

CHARACTERS: I really liked everyone in this movie. I have the unfortunate confession to say that I didn't see the first one. So my review i will have to say is not as educated as it should be. Seeing someone like shia labeouf play a serious role was a little awkward but didn't distract the movies point. Seeing Micheal Douglas reprising a vicious, heartless role was magical in my eyes. I would say that he was my favorite performance of the movie.

REVIEW: Although I haven't seen the first movie, "Money never sleeps" is an interesting plot, with a storyline that pertains to our time just like the original. The story can be confusing at times unless you have a degree, but somehow is still entertaining.

SUMMARY
GRADE B-
RECOMMENDATION: AS MUCH AS THIS MOVIE WAS ENTERTAINING, I'M VERY TORN BETWEEN WHETHER TO WATCH IT AT HOME OR TO GO TO THE MOVIES. SO SEE IT IN THE MOVIE THEATER IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THE PERFORMANCES. BUT IF YOU WAITED UNTIL DVD, YOUR NOT MISSING ANYTHING.

MOVIE REVIEW: YOU AGAIN

SYNOPSIS: An Agent heads home for her brothers wedding only to find out that the person her brother is marrying is the bully from high school that destroyed her life.

CHARACTERS: I liked the characters. I enjoy campy movies that have stupid humor unlike most critics. Except for Jamie Curtis, who seemed forced when she acted the mother of the agent. The other characters were very one dementional emotion with a lot of disconnection to the script. Nonetheless, this made the movie almost too simple.

REVIEW: Like i said i like to see a movie that is simple once in a while. This campy movie was fun to watch, and reminded me of high school day all too well.

SUMMARY
GRADE:C
RECOMMENDATION: ALTHOUGH THIS MOVIE WAS SIMPLE, IT WAS ALMOST TOO PLAIN JANE FOR MY TASTE. NONETHELESS THE CAST IS HILARIOUS IF YOU LIKE CAMPY MOVIES. DVD OR THEATER, THIS MOVIE IT WON'T MATTER EITHER WAY.

REVIEW: EASY A

SYNOPSIS: A Rumor is spread throughout school as one girls virginity is questioned. But the girl reacts, by accepting the rumor as real for small profit and the happiness of helping the helpless. This story was based on the classic tale "the scarlet letter."

CHARACTERS: I really enjoyed the cast. Seeing stanly tucci and Amanda Bynes play characters that you wouldn't normally see them in was fun to see. Everyones acting was bright and funny. It took the first part of the movie to really appreciate the characters in the movie but i warmed up to them and i doubt you will have a problem doing it either. I can't say anything horrible about anyone in this movie, because everyone seemed so comfortable in there roles.

REVIEW: I will be honest. I really wanted to hate this campy, salted down story but i couldn't. The story was fun, the characters were perfect, and the laughs never stopped. The consistency of this movie in terms of comedy and integrity was wonderful. Emma Stone is wonderful in her lead role and I have no doubt she will continue to get more work for her performance. The only true, issue i had with this movie was that the chemistry was almost off on a couple characters, otherwise, this one is going to be worth seeing more then once. I say this only because they have so much comedy in it that is subtle that i almost missed a lot of it. Its campy comedy works, and sadistic plot is addictive. Huge props to Emma Stone for making such a lovable lead.

SUMMARY:
GRADE: A
RECOMMENDATION: Take anyone you like, everyone is going to have fun watching this movie. Theaters, home video is all fine. Watch this movie because everyone in it will make your day just a little bit better...

REVIEW: GOING THE DISTANCE

SYNOPSIS: A man finds the woman of his dreams. The problem is, the woman is temporarily living in the same city as him and is leaving in a short few weeks. So the man decides to have a long distance relationship with her to make the relationship work.

CHARACTERS: As a breath of fresh air, in a year full of crappy romantic comedies, "Going the distance" is cute, funny and smart in all the right ways. Drew barrymore is still her amazing self and Justin long is just as charming. The chemistry is really here in this movie and i was eating it all up. The supporting cast does are ok with the exception of Christina applegate who is hilarious. Well rounded cast all together.

REVIEW: The movie is fun, charming and friendly. Its a comedy that started out slow but defiantly got good then even better. i loved this film:)
