MOVIE REVIEW: THE KINGS SPEECH

(2010 The Weinstein Company)

SYNOPSIS: One of the most capable Kings in history, George the sixth, has only one thing holding him back: his stutter. After searching high and low for a voice instructor, he finds a curious man bent on curing the kings speech.

CHARACTERS: You know when you have a cast like this, its hard to find anything wrong with this movie. Simply put, the cast was flawless. Colin Firth, and his sputtering performance, while Geoffrey Rush added to the movie like a sweet drop of sugar in tea. Again, you can't go wrong with someone like Helena bot ham Carter, where she has proven time and time again she can nail every role given to her.

REVIEW: Simple is Key. What a refreshing, witty movie that didn't not fail its audience. When the movie started with its quirks, i thought to myself, "wonder how long this is going to last." Ladies and Gentleman, someone gets to tell me, "I told you so," because this movie was solid from the beginning to the end. The only small, minor issue I had with this movie, is that its subtle humor may have mashed itself at certain points. I would be laughing, but couldn't hear the next line, for i was still laughing at the previous joke.

SUMMARY:
GRADE: A
RECOMMENDATION: IT WAS SIMPLE AND BALANCED. IT FLOWED SO SMOOTHLY AND IS WORTH SPENDING THE MONEY TO SEE!
